Europe to Bat!

Well your not up to bat, I am actually! Yes, it is I, the Jazzman! Micci of course is in Europe for the past 7 days so I thought I would update the blog! (And hey, it was either Europe to Bat or European in my Soup, I think I chose wisely!)

Where to start, well I successfully was able to get rid of the giant BOLD blog headlines! YAY!! Micci challenged me, and well I came through! I also gave the blog a face lift. How does it look? I think I need to tweak some of the colors, but I'll wait for Micci to help. We all know I'm a bit challenged in the color coordination department. haha!

So Micci Update: Today her and the Family are off to Rome, hopefully to see many beautiful sites there and hopefully a real bed! They just ended their 3 day stint in Paris. However, their 3 bed hotel rooms ended up having 2 twin beds and a weird purple couch that Micci had to cram on to and try to sleep. This is why I hope she gets a bed on the next leg of the trip. Besides the not fun sleeping conditions, they went to the Louvre and had dinner ON the Eiffel tower! Although she let me in on a fact that french people don't like ice, whats that about?? Who like warm soda? Oh and before Paris, they toured London, I know they saw Big Ben, Les Misérables and I think she might of had english tea with the queen. Of course Im sure once she is back, she will give everyone a much more detailed report of their travels and pictures.

Jazz Update: Well I got to go to Game 3 of the Jazz's Playoff series tonight. My brother-in-law had a extra ticket and decided to invite me along, Thanks Marky! Sadly though, the Jazz lost and now are 2-1 in the series and hopefully can win on Saturday to take a decisive lead in the series. I also miss my mic terriably, it sucks to not be able to call her or text her or even just hold her hand. I cant wait until she is back on Tuesday! Today also marks 50 days left until our Wedding! YAY for us!

Well Im off to bed!

Super Sunday

Ok so today is the kind of day that teases me and makes me want to fast forward until Jazz and I are married. We spent the whole entire day together and I can't wait to have that all the time. Jazz came down early this morning, looking all handsome in his suit, to listen to me play the harp in sacrament meeting. After church we had some PB and J sandwiches and watched Monster's Inc. together on the couch-- I think Jazz missed a little in the middle somewhere, we are both so tired lately!

We picked up our wedding announcements on Thursday and are working on getting them addressed and mailed out to everyone. I can't believe how great they turned out-- even better than I had ever pictured. They are really perfect. Look for one in a mailbox near you!

Also-- I can't figure out how to make my post titles not so huge. I have tried everything. I feel like when our blog loads there is this heading screaming at you like HEY LOOK A NEW POST and really I would just like a nice, sensible title. Any ideas?

We had some family over for more Settlers of Catan fun. So addicting. Also addicting-- the gooey rice krispy treats that we made. We ate them all-- the entire batch. And when I say the entire batch, I mean that we made two batches and ate both of them. Definitely a fat kid moment.

Weekend Update with Mic and Jazz

My life in numbers:
10 days until I depart for Europe
350 invitations to address before I leave
50 tablespoons of peanut butter I could eat in one sitting
6 finals until I am BYU-free forever
66 days until the best day of my life

So much is going on in such a short time. Its a tad overwhelming, but way exciting.

Lets see...Conference Weekend was really great. I always underestimate how awesome it is going to be until it is over, and I feel so inspired. We spent a lot of time with my brothers and sister down here in Provo-- we have discovered a new game that I freakin love. Its called Settlers of Catan, and it sounds so incredibly lame until you play it once and then you are hooked. Me and Jazz were on a team together and he helped me "strategize" for a victory.

Also-- I have pulled out an old friend this week-- Mr. Pedometer. Its a tiny little device that clips onto my jeans that tells me how lazy I am. It counts my steps everyday and reminds me to move around. Yesterday was my best day yet at 9200 steps. I want to break into the five digit range..thats my goal today.

Jazz and I continue to look for townhouses near Salt Lake. We have found some that we really like-- we are just making sure we have explored all the options. We want to be close to downtown SLC, since that is where Jazz works, but still in a residential-ish area so we get the benefits of a neighborhood. And then there is this whole "where am I going to get a job" aspect of it--that is a fun guessing game.
